Community Pool

Pool Rules

  • USE THE POOL AT YOUR OWN RISK. THERE ARE NO LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY.

  • Grand Pointe Homeowners Association, Inc. and its members are not responsible for accidents or injuries.

  • The pool is for the exclusive use of the HOA, its members, residents, and their guests only. A maximum of four guests are allowed per household per week. Grand Pointe residents must always accompany guests. Non-residents at the pool without an accompanying resident may be charged with trespassing.

  • Use of the pool for swimming lessons is prohibited.

  • All residents, when inside the pool area, must always have their pool key fob with them and are encouraged to have a mobile phone in case of an emergency.

  • Any resident 15-19 years of age may have only one non-resident guest per visit unless accompanied by the homeowner parent.

  • No children under the age of 15 are allowed in the pool area without parental supervision.

  • No glass is allowed in the pool area.

  • No animals are allowed in the pool area.

  • No smoking or vaping in the pool area.

  • Keep the pool area clean. Remove all food, toys, clothing, etc. from the pool area when you leave. Items left behind may be discarded.

  • No loud or excessive noise in the pool area.

  • Profanity will not be tolerated.

  • No running, pushing, diving, dangerous horseplay or other inappropriate behavior is allowed in the pool area.

  • No bicycles, skateboards, scooters, or roller blades are allowed in the pool area.

  • No babies in the pool without the use of swim diapers.

  • Keep the gate closed. Do not prop the gate open under any circumstance.

  • Do not open the gate for anyone who does not have a key fob or whose key fob does not open the gate.

  • The Association reserves the right to deny pool usage to anyone at any time for breaking the pool/neighborhood rules or causing pool vandalism or damage.

  • The pool is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day.

  • Please leave the pool area during pool reservations.

  • Pool furniture is the property of Grand Pointe Homeowners Association, Inc., and is not to be removed from the pool area at any time.

  • Homeowners are responsible for damage caused by themselves, their children, or their guests.

  • If you notice any suspicious activity, notify Northport Police at 205-339-6600.

Reserve the Pool

From birthday parties to little league baseball celebrations, the Grand Pointe Community Pool is a great place to host your event. Rentals include a two-hour window of exclusive use of the community pool, pool house, and pool pavilion. Rentals are permitted Monday through Friday with a premium charge applied on Friday evenings due to high pool demand from homeowners.

You can place your reservation online in minutes with our self-service amenity rental portal. You can also change your reservation or cancel through this system. Please note: only Grand Pointe homeowners are allowed to rent the community pool and while deposits are not required, any damage that occurs during the rental is the responsibility of the homeowner and will be applied to their account.
