Community Park

The Grand Pointe Community Park opened in spring 2024. This new common area is located in Phase 6 of Grand Pointe and features one of the largest playgrounds in the city, a new pavilion for community and private events, limited parking, and a new home for food trucks. The park is located at the corner of Windword Pointe Drive and White Pine Drive.

Pavilion & Playground Rules

General Guidelines

  • Residents and Guests Only: The park is intended for the exclusive use of Grand Pointe residents and their accompanied guests.

  • Supervision of Children: Children under the age of 12 should be supervised by an adult at all times.

  • Operating Hours: The playground is open from sunrise to sunset daily.

  • Cleanliness: Please dispose of trash in designated receptacles. "Pack in, pack out" to maintain the park's cleanliness.

  • Noise Levels: Amplified music and excessive noise are discouraged to respect nearby residents.

Playground Rules

  • Hours: The playground is open for play from sunrise to sunset, unless otherwise noted.

  • Age-Appropriate Equipment: Use playground equipment suitable for your age group.

  • Footwear: Proper footwear is required; no bare feet.

  • Prohibited Items: No food, drinks, or glass containers within the playground area.

  • Behavior: No rough play, pushing, or inappropriate behavior.

  • Pets: Pets are not allowed in the playground area.

Pavilion Rules

  • Reservations: The pavilion can be reserved for private events. Reservations include exclusive use of the pavilion, smart TV, and fireplace.

  • Rental Hours: Rentals are permitted daily from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

  • Clean-Up: Users are responsible for cleaning up after their event. Remove all decorations, trash, and personal items.

  • Prohibited Items: No glass containers, smoking, or open flames (other than in designated areas).

Safety & Conduct

  • Pets: Pets must be leashed at all times and are not allowed in the playground area. Owners must clean up after their pets.

  • Vehicles: Motorized vehicles are not permitted on park grounds, except in designated parking areas.

  • Vandalism: Any form of vandalism or damage to park property will result in penalties and possible suspension of park privileges.

  • Emergency Contact: In case of emergencies or to report suspicious activity, contact Northport Police at 205-339-6600.

Reserve the Pavilion

Situated in a beautiful corner park, the Grand Pointe Park Pavilion is a great place to host parties, large family gatherings, and other special events. Rentals include exclusive use of the park pavilion, smart TV, and fireplace. Rentals are allowed each day from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m.
